"Yeah. He was supposed to arrive a few days ago, but there were some issues on his end that delayed him. His flight lands tomorrow. Do you want to go pick him up?" Charles squatted down beside Noelle to help her organize the papers.

Noelle paused for a moment. "Sure, why not? I had someone clean the place where Mr. Click will be staying a few days ago. Since you said he's arriving tomorrow, I should probably have someone clean it again today."

Charles nodded. "I've already arranged for it to be cleaned again."

"Charlie..." Noelle sighed as she patted Charles on the shoulder. "You know, you think of everything and handle it all. What's left for me to do?" "Silly girl!" Charles could not resist pinching Noelle's nose as she acted all serious. "You're like a little old soul in a young body!"

"Ow, stop pinching my nose! It's going to get deformed!" She added with a playful tone, "Luckily, my nose is natural. If it had been a fake one, it would've collapsed by now! No more pinching my nose from now on!"

Charles chuckled. "How about we eat out tonight?"

"Sounds good!" Noelle agreed, realizing it had been a while since they dined out. "Oh, by the way, how's Aunt Nancy doing?"

She remembered visiting Nancy in the hospital a few days ago. Even though Nancy had tried to hide it, she did not look well. "When is Tania coming back?"

"Soon, I hope," Charles replied, his expression turning serious as he discussed Tania. "Aunt Nancy doesn't have much time left. I don't know if Tania's return can save her again this time. Three years ago, it already took a lot out of her."

"Don't worry, everything will turn out fine," Noelle said, sensing the sadness in Charles' tone. She knew Nancy meant a lot to him. After all, Nancy practically raised Charles, and he likely held her in the highest regard.

In the time Noelle had spent with Nancy, she had also come to appreciate her kindness and warmth. "Let's go visit Aunt Nancy, shall we?"

Henry is with her now." Charles finished tidying up the papers and helped Noelle to her feet. "Let's go upstairs and change. We're heading out!"

"But it's not even dinner time yet. Where are we going this early?" Noelle asked as she obediently headed upstairs to change.

As Charles watched her go, he picked up his phone and called someone in Carvonia. "Speed things up. I'm giving you three days."

When Noelle came back downstairs

after changing, she saw that Charles

was already ready. Smiling, she handed him the clothes she bought a few days ago. "I got these when Teresa and I went shopping the other day. Try them on?"

"Come here." Charles beckoned, and Noelle ran over, handing him the coat. "Teresa says you'd look good in anything you wear. You could wear a burlap sack and it'd still look good!"

"Oh?" Charles raised an eyebrow. "Is that supposed to be a compliment?"

Charles gently tapped her on the forehead. "You have good taste."

He smiled. After all, she did choose him.
