Shane said brazenly, "Anyway, I said I'm not going to work, so I won't!"

Carlisle took a deep breath and said, "Very well! You said that yourself. Don't you regret it!"

Shane shrugged. "Sure."

Then, Carlisle called Justin and told him to stop giving Shane any money starting this month. Then, Carlisle blocked Shane's phone number. Since his son was disobedient, Carlisle was determined to take advantage of the opportunity to teach him a lesson.

Carlisle said nonchalantly, "Remember, you chose this."

"Yeah," Shane said before walking away.

When Steven arrived at the office, all he could think of was Annalise. He walked up to the window and quietly stared into the distance.
